Objective:
To generate awareness locally and regionally for Boston Children’s Museum and its new Five Friends from Japan Exhibit.
Program:
- This interactive exhibit, which opened January 11, 2004, was developed and conceived over a two year period in Boston and after it’s Boston launch, will travel the United States and Canada through 2009, visiting at least 10 different cities.
- A program was developed to:
- Generate awareness for the exhibit and the museum locally;
- Generate awareness for the museum nationally.
Results:
- During a three month period, major coverage was received in the following publications:
- In addition, feature pieces were placed in the New York Times twice, Travel & Leisure as well as Time Magazine for Kids.
